In 2001, with a fast expanding retail market, CGR was offered the opportunity to work directly for the quickly growing Somerfield Supermarkets. CG Refrigeration Ltd was then created, rapidly expanding successfully.
Today, CGR is on a sound footing.
The advantage of directly employed, well trained labour is a major benefit to the future growth of CGR and year on year our site based engineers staff has steadily increased.The development of refrigeration systems to cope with ecological demands means that the skills are in high demand, and that same level of skill is available from CGR throughout the year summer or winter.

We also operate Enterprise Training – this is a City & Guilds recognised training centre specialising in C02 system design and installation, F-gas certification, national level brazing, facility management and energy optimising.
We have a full facility capable of handling any size of project and from one small wall mounted Air conditioning unit through to full large scale Supermarkets Installations.
